Brewster Heights - Dirty water

On the night of 9/6 there was a pump line failure. 'Dirty' water entered the storage tanks. The line was repaired the morning of 9/7 and clear water has been diluting dirty water Sat, Sun and Mon - today's flushing should clear water. Water is safe

to consume. An alarm system is being investigated to notify the operators in the event of a line failure - they are not on-site 24/7. We apologize for any inconvenience.
