Parking 

The Town of Southeast administers permit and metered parking at the Southeast Train Station located at 2 Independent Way. This lot is located on the right hand side of Independent Way. Nights (after 4:30 pm) weekends and holidays are free at the Southeast Station.  

Metro North has a metered parking facility on the left hand side of Independent Way, adjacent to the Southeast Lot. This facility is managed by LAZ Parking not the Town of Southeast. For general information and rates please call them at 888-682-PARK or go to their Website at www.RRparking.com. The Pay Station is found at the entrance to the lot and accepts cash, credit and debit cards. Please select the Quick Link below for additional information regarding the LAZ Parking lot. Free parking is available on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

The Town of Southeast administers permit and metered parking at the Gold Lot located at 67 Main Street. This lot is located in the Village of Brewster between the Brewster Library and the Museum in the lower lot. Nights (after 4:30 pm) weekends and holidays are free at the GOLD Lot.

Permit parking is available at the Southeast Train Station through the Parking Administrator. The Town of Southeast offers annual and semi-annual permits. There are approximately 642 commuter spaces: 576 permit spaces, 43 “pay by phone” spaces, 23 handicap access spaces for either “pay by phone” or Southeast permit holders and 4 electric charging spaces.

 “Pay by phone” parking is at a cost of $5.75 for a 24-hour period on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have an annual or semi-annual permit and have a handicap permit, you need not pay at a handicap space.

To use “pay by phone”, text the zone number 845 to (470) 279-4090 or use the barcode on the sign to load the information.

A permit is required for all electric charging spaces.
